4 Favorite Touch-Up Products To Have With You On Your Wedding Day

Typically on your wedding day, makeup is applied earlier in the day. This means Brides can wear their wedding day makeup for 12+ hours! So what’s the secret to keeping your face in tip-top shape? Well, with a professional makeup artist, your look should need minimal touching-up but oily skin, weather, & pesky blemishes may fight back. Here’s my favorite touch-up product recommendations for any Bride!

1. Blotting Sheets

Yes, like the ones we used in high school! These thin sheets remove excess oil without disrupting your makeup. They also make a great add-on to your Bridesmaids’ gifts!

2. Powder

Also another way to kiss oily skin goodbye! Usually needed just in the t-zone, a blotting powder will absorb oil & keep unwanted shine away.

3. Lip Products

These are a DEFINITE for EVERY Bride! As long lasting as they promise, lip colors will not stay perfectly through a long day of drinking, eating, kissing your new hubby (!!!) & conversation. Make sure to get the specific products your makeup artist used prior to the wedding day so you can purchase them and keep with you (or your Maid of Honor) throughout the day. My suggestion is always to make sure you reapply for ceremony & reception or anytime you’ll be taking portraits.

Every MakeUp by Samantha Linn Bride gets a custom lip product recommendation but here is my favorite nude go-to!

4. Concealer

Worried about a nasty blemish? With the stress of the big day, oftentimes a pesky pimple will pop up. If you’re worried about it peeking through, make sure to have an easy-to-apply concealer for extra security!
